Born in Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan, Russia, Rustam uses his wildly surreal imagination to creates for example fishes adorned with houses and windows, elephants sprouting giant buildings and a goose whose feathers are made from an ocean of angry waves.
Almost every one of his creations, be it on paper or on a wall is brimming with wonderful ideas and often have to be viewed up close to appreciate their full details.
His work is very much inspired by Russian tales and for this wall Rustam has created a trip into a magical surreal world to be seen under several angles.
