MKDIR
Michèle aka MKDIR, graduated from the Bern University of the Arts with a Bachelor in Visual Communication in 2016. Michèle works as a graphic designer for an agency and has developed personal projects in illustration, 2D animation and web development.
In 2019 she completed her first mural during the Women’s Strike in Fribourg. Moving onto a larger format, Michèle decided take a leap in her creative career and paint on walls.
For her piece “Summer and Winter at last reunited” she paints two characters holding hands and skating together personifying summer and winter. Crans-Montana lives with the rhythm of these two diametrically opposed seasons, from skiing to hiking and from wakeboarding to snowboarding. Her work aims to combine these two seasons on the same mural so that they can finally live together at the same time and in the same space.
