Originally from Ivory Coast, inspired by the many tragedies on the African continent, Mederic addresses the problematic of child soldiers abused by corrupt governments, sent to war, deprived of their childhood and exposed to atrocities they will never forget.
In most countries these kids are left alone with their traumas back to daily life without any kind of assistance and most probably incapable to deal with it.
There can be no keener revelation of a society’s soul than the way in which it treats its children. It is the job of parents to care, protect and educate their children.
Mederic lives and works in Morocco.
