FLEUR BLUME

Trained at the Beaux-Arts in Paris and originally from the South of France, Fleur BLUME is a multidisciplinary painter. A jack-of-all-trades, she masters, among other things, oil and acrylic paint, spray, charcoal and engraving. With a dynamic and powerful style, Fleur BLUME creates works of multiple sizes where canvases, murals and ephemeral performances are part of her daily life.

In 2022 Fleur Blume participated in VAF8, where she painted a monochrome fresco on the wall of a schoolyard in Crans-Montana. Using stencils and cutouts, she created a stylized landscape of bamboo, foliage and grass that seemed to quiver in the wind, choosing a shocking colour, blood red, to contrast with the grey of the concrete wall.

She was also part of a unique experience – “VAF retour à lécole /  VAF back to school” – which led her to transform with the children, after 15 days of workshop, the stairs of the courtyard into a huge open-air aviary, filled with multicoloured birds.
