BORIS CHIARADIA
Winner of the 2018 VAF Battle of Styles in the category “illustration”, Boris Chiaradia (Switzerland), is an illustrator, painter and graphic designer living in Bern.
His murals are comparable to what one would imagine to come off the page of mythical French fabulist Jean de la Fontaine’s fables.
This mural is an homage to the women and wen of the ski patrol / alpine first responders.
The Saint-Bernard breed, which is depicted in this mural, is commonly associated with mountain rescue and is a symbol of the canton of Valais culture.
