ASTRO
As a self-taught artist, ASTRO (France) has become more abstract by adding curves, calligraphy and dynamic shapes to his work.
Very much inspired by Hartung, Vasarely or Mucha, Astro created his own universe through his balance between shadow and light, vivacity of colors and depth perspective.
Perfectly at ease on very larges surfaces, his spontaneous and impulsive brush stroke fools the viewers eye, alters the flatness of his works therefore creating incredible optical illusions.
His mural for VAF was located at 2600m, one of our highest murals, directly on the slopes and to be seen on skies and snowboard in winter, tracking in summer.
